A Monograph: Moments, People & Places

This monograph is a collection of published and unpublished photographs captured between 2015 and the present within New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas. Time and knowledge inspires and changes creative techniques and approaches. Older photos have been re-edited to reflect me as a growing, learning, and changing photojournalist. My newer photos reflect this as well. All photos were created and edited with journalistic practices, principles, and ethics.

Photojournalists owe a great deal of gratitude to the world for our ability to share stories through photography. The stories belong to the moments, people, and places frozen in time by the photographs we create.

One can be proud of being in the journalism "industry," but I am more proud and honored to be a part of the stories every day people allow me to be in with them (exception to the rulers).

It never ceases to amaze and inspire me when humans so willfully share their most darkest, most truest, and most hopeful stories about their lives with only the slightest chance of it changing the world. That kind of courage is what changes our world and moves communities forward.

¡Gracias a la vida!
